MAV Sense FUSE overload protection and signal amplifier for 1 servo
MAV Sense SFUSE is designed to protect the built-in power supply system in the model and to avoid the possibility of interference that may appear on the signal cables.
MAV Sense SFUSE is not only suitable for protecting your power supply.
MAV Sense SFUSE provides increased safety on models with petrol engines, and on models with longer power cords. You can use SFUSE when using fast servos that need extra power supply capacity.
MAV Sense SFUSE 6A is based on a resettable polymer fuse rated for up to 6A continuous current and up to 50A pulse current. Today’s servos do not reach such high current values and therefore the fuse is only activated in the event of a servo failure or short circuit.
MAV Sense SFUSE has an integrated amplifier for the servo pulse. The voltage level of the servo signal at the output is stabilized at 5V. Increasing the range between logical layers which increases security against interference from external sources. The amplifier is unidirectional and does not transmit any other interference from the servo back to the receiver.
The signal amplifier is also equipped with an input servo signal filter, which eliminates interference and unwanted signals that would be transmitted through the cables to the servo.
MAV Sense SFUSE allows the power supply to be filtered using capacitors. This reduces voltage ripple and improves receiver performance.
MAV Sense SFUSE has an input from the receiver (JR socket) and an output (JR plug) for servo with a mechanical safety clip.
Do not connect more than one servo to the output of MAV Sense SFUSE.
We recommend placing the MAV Sense SFUSE about halfway between the receiver and servo.
